NZ Exchanges & Returns:

We want you to love your wetsuit! And we get you girl, it can be scary purchasing a wetsuit online. That’s why we’ve made it so easy for you to exchange or return your brand new wettie. For an exchange, store credit or refund you MUST notify us within 14 days of receipt of your goods and prior to returning it. All returns must be in new condition and must not have hit the ocean.


In all NZ wetsuit orders, you'll receive a return pre-paid courier label, along with an Exchange & Returns form. All you need to do is:


  1. Please email us first to ensure we know to expect your return at gemma@gemmaleesuits.com 
  2. Repackage the wetsuit back into its original box
  3. Please fold the wetsuit neatly, as it came. This is because the neoprene surface is delicate and subject to marking / creasing.
  4. Fill out the Exchange & Return form & put it back in the box
  5. Put the return shipping label on the box & drop it off at your local post office

International & Swimwear Exchanges & Returns: 


Gemma Lee wants you to love your suit and for it to fit perfectly! If you didn’t quite get the fit right, we offer exchanges, store credit or a refund for suits. For an exchange, store credit or refund you MUST notify us within 14 days of receipt of your goods and prior to returning it. You then must return it to us within the next 14 days from your return or exchange being accepted.

If you need to exchange the suit for a new size please let us know at contact@gemmaleesuits.com promptly, so we can put your new suit aside for you. If the size in your preferred design is sold out you will be offered a store credit or refund.

When contacting us please have your order number, contact details and the design and size of the product you would like to exchange for. When you have approval from Gemma Lee for either an exchange or store credit, please carefully re-package your suit in its original packaging to avoid damage to the wetsuit and send it to the address provided by the Gemma Lee office in New Zealand. We will only accept returns or exchanges in original packaging. 

All returns must be in new condition and must not have hit the ocean. For a return or exchange to be accepted the tag must still be attached to the suit and the order confirmation must be printed out and included with the garment. Gemma Lee does not accept damaged or worn suits.


For international exchanges & returns: Shipping will be at the cost of the customer unless Gemma Lee deems the product to be faulty.

 

Please note the following Return Policy Guidelines:

  • We happily welcome returns of items in their original condition: new, unused, unwashed, and free of deodorant stains, with tags and hygienic liners intact. Returns not meeting these criteria will be sent back to the sender. 
  • Please ensure your return items are carefully folded and securely packaged as received
  • Please obtain a tracking number for proof of delivery. 
  • Kindly note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.



Loss or Damage:

Please note that Gemma Lee cannot be held liable for lost or damaged packages during shipment, nor for locating lost or stolen packages post-delivery, including both domestic and international orders.

Gemma Lee is unable to replace packages dispatched to incorrect or outdated addresses provided by the customer. We urge you to thoroughly review your shipping address before finalising your order to prevent any inconvenience.

 

Wetsuit Guarantee:

We take pride in the quality of our craftmanship & premium materials. Your Gemma Lee suit is guaranteed against defective materials and faulty workmanship under normal use for 12 months from date of purchase (proof of purchase required). Warranty repairs are free of charge.

Gemma Lee will cover shipping costs if product is deemed under warranty.

Our warranty excludes neoprene damage from inappropriate recreational use, damage from extensive sunlight exposure, fin & finger nail cuts & negligence to follow care instructions. Warranty is not validated if you have the suit repaired at an unauthorised repair service. We know best how to care for a Gemma Lee suit.

It is at the discretion of our Gemma Lee experts whether your suit is repaired or replaced. We do our best to keep our Gemma Lee customers happy. You are very important to us.
